6/19: Christina Sanchez, Class of 2018, appointed Regulatory and Life Safety Coordinator at Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ (South Jersey) Christina works directly with the Regulatory Manager and Safety Officer on all initiatives and projects to ensure and maintain patient safety, regulatory compliance and survey readiness through environmental tours, process improvement initiatives, lean methodologies and staff training/education.
Christina also has a new role as an adjunct professor teaching legal and ethical Issues in healthcare for the Nursing Department at Cumberland County College.
6/19: Ash Kumar, MD, Class of 2019 Appointed new role as medical director for Oak Street Health in Philadelphia as of September 2019. Congratulations!
In April of 2018 Ash married his college sweetheart and in August of that year relocated from Atlantic City, NJ to Philadelphia,PA and bought a home “in the hottest neighborhood in America, Fishtown!” In February 2019 he and his wife also welcomed their first child. Life has been busy!

4/19: Congratulations to Neomi Shah, MD, Class of 2017!
Dr. Shah was recently named the Associate Division Chief (Academic Affairs) for Pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine in the Department of Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital. In her expanded role, Dr. Shah will assist her Division Chief in managing the divisional academic administrative programs including faculty promotion, research and development. Dr. Shah is also faculty at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
